Frankenpedes - Pasta Skewered Hot Dogs

I won't take credit for this idea, which apparently is a big thing in Russia right now. But when I found a couple of wayward Hebrew Nationals in the fridge this evening, it just seemed like the thing to try! The finished food carries several names - Hairy Sausage, Pasta Dog, etc. I settled on Frankenpede, because the thing looked like a centipede when it was completed.

Making a Frankenpede is easy. Essentially I stuck dried pasta through a hot dog; sausages can be used too. I chose to use some sort of kitchen implement with several skewers in a row, so there would be a straight line of pasta down the dog. Once they were skewered I boiled them for eight minutes (next time I'll do ten...the pasta was a bit tough).
