Foo Photo - Kaleidoscope Of Cheapness

Mobile Kaleidoscope , originally uploaded by KDavidClark.
What do you get when you combine a camera phone, which has the image quality of a disposable film camera, with a 30-cent child's toy? The Kaleidoscope Of Cheapness!

Last night I found a cheap plastic kaleidoscope on the floor in the family room; it's almost a natural step to look through one of these things when it's picked up, and I wasn't any different. My first reaction was, "What would this look like through a camera?" The eye hole is about the size of a thumbtack head, which meant there was only one camer in the house that could answer the question - my trusty Cingular 2125. The result is what you see.

One of the photos is the light above our kitchen table. Another is the refrigerator. There's a TV set, family room lamp, and even Sherry standing in the kitchen. With the exception of the kitchen table lamp, I can't tell which one is which.

Cheapsters Ho!
