Tuesday Shirt is thankful to be in a country where the color of your fabric simply doesn't matter. This is America, and we can all wear our Tuesday Shirts without fear of being hauled away by the secret police for insubordination. To quote the great Dick Vitale, "It's freedom baby!"
I've had a long history with the American flag, starting with the red, white and blue Keds I had in 1972. While the colors in the flag technically don't have any meaning, they represent something for which I'm thankful and proud to be part of. Recently I came across this picture in one of Sherry's photo albums:
It was taken in the Spring of 1989. Interestingly enough, the mullet predated my first Camaro by two years. Please somebody...invent a time machine, travel back to before the Berlin Wall came down, locate me in Pullman WA, and kick me in the shins for buying glasses that big.
