Earlier this year I found a couple of potato bags in the pantry that were forming their own communities. Sprouts were everywhere inside the bags. So David convinced me to take them outside and try to grow something. With some guidance from sister Farmer Jan, we put a number of potatoes into flower planters and covered them with dirt. The results you can see clearly, in the front three planters!David is particularly proud of these potatoes, as he should be. Hopefully we can keep them alive through the summer and make something good at harvest time!
