Help me...I'm being assimilated!
Tuesday Shirt is quite at home with the Japanese Lace Leaf Maple in our front yard, since they are currently the same seasonal color. This tree was transplanted in our yard by my in-laws when they moved into the house...in1970. That means it's been growing for at least 40 years. It's really big and furry.Last winter it was getting so big that it was blocking our way to the front door. So I trimmed it back more drastically than ever, and took off at least 50 pounds of branches and dead limbs. It bounced back, with a vengeance. Limbs started growing from places where I didn't know they could grow. I think it liked being freed from the waste to its resources!
