Recently I found this in the photo archives of an old computer - the beloved Douglas DC-3 that I've written about on this blog before (click HERE to read more about the plane). This picture is another shot of the "Tail Number N19906," the same plane that brought me home to Sand Point AK as an infant in 1964! Another more-recent photo of this DC-3 in operation can be seen HERE.

I scanned this photo from a slide in 2003, and not very well. The slide is somewhere in my house, and now that I have a better slide scanner I will someday try it again. The original was color, but the contrast was poor enough that it better served humanity as a black and white instead. Maybe a better color scan will come out nicer, but I have to find the slide first!
