David's Art Project

In our house, sometimes what comes home from school in the backpack on a Friday stays in the backpack...until Monday when I'm making room for David's lunch. Well this is what I found this morning when I was clearing space, a painting David did last week without telling us anything. When I asked him about it he said, "Oh yeah...I did that in art class last week."

While the colors are enhanced a touch during the scan job, the impact even pulling it out of his backpack was the same - "Whoa." It's really great to see him doing this kind of stuff. David enjoys drawing and painting, and I can appreciate that being an amateur artist myself. I asked him what it was called and he said simply, "The Swirling Painting."
