The Tuesday Shirt Coffee Manifesto
- My choice of drinking an Americano is not a statement on sustainability, globalization, or free trade.
- Drinking a hot cup of coffee is not a political statement, rather it is a personal endevour that is sometimes punctuated by selfless intentions like supporting a coffee plantation in Central America.
- Holding a Starbucks cup doesn't make me cool. It's impossible to make me cool.
- I take no half-n-half, decaf, soy, chai, or sugar.
- My coffee needs are simple: bold, dark, and hot. This beverage can be had virtually anywhere, at a reasonable price.
- I cling to the philosophy that a complicated coffee order is a recipe for failure, and that anything more than $3.00 for a drink is far more than I should spend.
