David's teacher was kind enough to clear a project for him to explore what he likes most: Trains! So together we set out originally to have him guest-author a blog post about railroading. But that changed when he said, "I want to talk about them on camera." Okay, so that means blog mutated into video blog.
We can do that!
Here's the best part: Most of the media in the this video - photo and footage - was taken by David. I took some of it, like the photos of David and a couple of video shots. I followed his lead for content. David even chose the soundtrack song. When I had it in final draft he proclaimed, "I want to say something at the end." So we went to the backyard and had him record the final greeting on video at 7am Saturday morning. The resulting video was fun for him and really fun for me. Good practice for possibly video blogs posting of my own!
In the credits you'll see two names that may not make sense. One is Cassie "No-No" Nghe, which is sort of an inside family joke; David says Cassie No-No is Jack's girlfriend, to which Jack responds, "No...she's Not!" The other name you'll see as the caterer is King Copper, which was Jack's pronunciation of Cucumber. Personally I like King Copper better.

Good job, David! Grandma and I think you're the best train commentator in the world. Love you...Grandma and Grandpa Clark
