Happy Thanksgiving from the Clark Family!

This year we're thankful for so much, both professionally and personally:

1. I'm working for a secure company, even in this tough economy
2. Sherry is really enjoying her opportunities to do music
   
3. Our family is healthy
4. We have a roof
5. Our truck and motorcycle are paid for
6. David is excelling in a few subjects in the First Grade, including math (a marked weakness of mine)
7. Jack is on his way towards a second prosthetic, and is showing much more interest in walking now
8. Our faith is stronger, as we have found God's word and wisdom to be not only amazing but dead-on when a need arises. It's true: "Let Go, Let God."
   

I pray today for those on the streets, in the hospitals, and under the thumb of oppressive governments around the world. I cry for those who find no way out of the only life they know, but by the pop of a gun or the flash of a blade. My hope for these people and others is that some sort of joy might come their way in an unexpected turn, that the light of the sun will shine and that something positive will happen.

The words to If I Can Dream - written by Walter Earl Brown and made famous by Elvis - really speak to the sense of hope I have for the future today, tempered by faith and buoyed by family:
