With David out of school for the week, and me between jobs, The Clark Family headed to Ocean Shores for four days. This has been a place we have gone and enjoyed for a long time as a family; Sherry and her Mom have been going there even longer. Our timeshare has a property there, right on the beach. Of cours, in February, it's sometimes more comfy to just sit inside and eat, but at least we have the view of the water and the smell of the waves.
While we were there my folks came down to meet us. One of the things we like to do when we're together is to drive up the coast from Ocean Shores to see other parts of the area. Outside Pacific Beach we drove over some crosswalks that seemed to come from nowhere. As we came past a curve there it was - Seabrook - which is a new beach town development, only the town is built up on a hill on one side of the road with crosswalks heading towards the ocean. We drove into the development and really liked the homes of all sizes. Is it for us? Not anytime soon, but it's nice to look.
One unexpected attraction we experienced was the Lunar Eclipse. A family near our condo had a telescope and we got a chance to see the moon up close. Of course, my camera wasn't suited for that type of photography but the eclipse to us looked much like the pictures HERE.
We had a great time overall, and always go back!
